KaleidoTangle

Your drawing. New patterns. A fresh perspective every time.

Your drawing holds more than a single image. KaleidoTangle turns your own photos and drawings into decorative patterns through repetition, reflection and rotation. Choose a crop, try different arrangements and discover how familiar lines take on a whole new character.

An Android version for Google Play remains a possibility for the future. There are no plans to develop it in the near term.

THE IDEA BEHIND IT

Inspired by a love of tangling

The idea for KaleidoTangle grew out of my enjoyment of tangling and the Zentangle® Method. With the app, you can turn photos of your own drawings into new, repeating patterns.

KaleidoTangle is a tool for creating with existing images. The app does not teach the Zentangle Method of drawing.

The Zentangle Method was developed by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas. Zentangle® is a registered trademark of Zentangle, Inc. KaleidoTangle is an independent offering and is not affiliated with Zentangle, Inc.
